Mr. Hoang serves as a senior project manager for Brailsford & Dunlavey at the Redwood City School District in Redwood City, CA. He graduated from the University of California, Davis with a bachelor of science in environmental design with an emphasis on architecture. He is part of the program and construction management oversight team in the RCSD Measure T ($193) Bond Program, which includes modernization and new construction projects with budgets ranging from approximately $1M to $20M at sixteen K-8 sites. Prior joining B&D, Huy spent two and half years in Oakland Unified School District’s Measure J ($475M) Bond Program serving as the construction manager for two modernization and new construction projects with a budget of $28.5M and $95M respectively. He has also worked overseas in Vietnam as the construction director for a five-star resort project and also as the design manager for a commercial development project with a budget of $450M for Turner International. Before getting into program and construction management, Huy worked in the architectural field on education projects. Through his background and experience, Huy brings to the table a passion for collaboration and teamwork and the know-how of what it takes to manage a project/program from startup to closeout.
