Washington, DC — Brailsford & Dunlavey (B&D) proudly celebrated the next generation of AEC (architecture, engineering, and construction) leaders at the ACE DC Annual Scholarship Awards Breakfast, held Monday, May 13, in Washington, DC, and co-sponsored by B&D.
Among the morning’s highlights was the recognition of B&D Mentee Hope Dickson, a student at Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School, who was awarded a prestigious ACE DC scholarship. Dickson’s team also earned first place in the regional design competition, underscoring the strength of the program and its student participants.
Other B&D employees who are actively involved with ACE DC were also present, including Bill Mykins, who serves on the organization’s board of directors and scholarship selection committee, and Diego Martinez and Lisa Stanovski, who were co-mentors to the award-winning Georgetown Visitation Prep team.
“We’re honored to support such a meaningful cause,” said Will Mangrum, president of B&D’s KMV sphere.“Programs like ACE DC are critical to inspiring future changemakers in our industry—and it’s a privilege to help guide their path.”
