Housing providers and university administrators essentially remain in a partnership for however long a resident attends that university — and for however long a student lives in that community.

[…] That means these two groups are stuck with each other for the long haul. So they’d better get along.

“Far too often housing operators are positioned as competition — or even problematic — in supporting overall student success,” says T.J. Logan, executive director in the higher education practice group at advisory and project management firm Brailsford & Dunlavey. “In the places where relationships are the most successful, the housing operator is positioned as a partner.”
