Edward Norwood

Mr. Norwood joined Brailsford & Dunlavey in December 2018 as a Senior Associate. Prior to joining B&D’s Atlanta office, he spent his career in municipal/public finance where he held leadership positions in both the banking and real estate consulting sectors. His more than ten years of public finance experience includes assisting state and local governments, higher education, K-12, and healthcare clients. His skillset includes client management, financial modeling, bond structuring, public-private partnerships, project management, cash flow and budgetary analysis, and credit assessment. He has underwritten and advised on over 100 projects ranging from $300,000 to $175 million. His total client relationship and transactional experience is over $2 billion, including over $200 million in higher education transactions. Mr. Norwood received his undergraduate degree in economics and business administration from Millsaps College and his MBA from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. He also graduated from the University of Mississippi School Of Banking. He is a FINRA Series 50 registered municipal advisor representative.
