Before joining B&D, Mr. Keegan worked for 20 years in higher education, where he served in a variety of senior student affairs and auxiliary services positions. He most recently worked as the associate vice president of student affairs at DePaul University, where he was responsible for residence life, foodservice, campus recreation, university bookstores, student centers, athletic facilities, conference services, and vending operations. His other positions at DePaul included director of auxiliary services and director of residence life.

Prior to working at DePaul, Mr. Keegan held other senior management positions at several institutions, serving as acting vice president of student affairs, dean of student life, director of student services, director of student activities, and director of intramurals and recreation. Besides leading auxiliary enterprises, he has also managed other university departments, including student life, career planning and placement, counseling services, athletics, health resources, campus activities and special events, student government, ID card services, international student services, and campus publications. His extensive hands-on experience in developing and managing campus operations has been instrumental in enhancing students’ quality of life. In addition to his college and university work, he has significant experience in leading planning and implementation efforts for non-profit enterprises, including social service agencies, private schools, and churches.

As vice president of practice management at B&D, Mr. Keegan oversees numerous areas, including human resources, learning & development, practice management, real estate, risk management, legal affairs, facilities management, office administration, and quality control.  He also serves as a subject matter expert on projects related to Student Affairs and Auxiliary Services.
