Prince George’s County Public Schools’ alternative delivery project reaches financial close

B&D congratulates Prince George’s County Public Schools and is proud to be a partner in this monumental achievement reaching commercial and financial close on the first K-12 public Design-Build-Finance-Maintain program in the country. While Alternative Construction Financing has been used to deliver K-12 projects in the UK, Australia, Canada, and other countries, PGCPS’s effort is a first for large-scale programs in the US.

B&D is serving as the technical advisor on the effort, providing technical procurement, program, design, public engagement, and communications advisory services. We are very excited to help deliver these six middle schools and look forward to continued collaboration with the Prince George’s County Education & Community Partners development team, while advancing the program and fostering connections with the community.
