What Is the “Gold Standard” in Program Management?

July 22, 2016  |  Chris Dunlavey, FAIA

B&D’s founders and leaders, Paul Brailsford and Chris Dunlavey, have continually fostered a culture that places best practices at the forefront of what we do and how we do it. There are many methods for implementing projects. Some are more effective than others. And at the top of the pyramid rests the “Gold Standard”–the process by which one effectively addresses and navigates every challenge, seen and unseen.

In this week’s School Construction News, Chris outlines what it means to adopt a Gold Standard for program management:

Expanding on themes introduced last month in the same publication, B&D’s president reinforces what everyone at the company already knows: successful program outcomes are achieved when we serve as trusted advisors, innovators, and leaders. Adhering to those principles consistently and fearlessly has helped make B&D what it is today.

"The leadership and information from B&D, and the clarity with which they provide it, brings added credibility to the process and ensures that a range of university stakeholders, including senior leadership and our board, are fully informed for – and confident in – their required decision making.”
